How I came to write

I started writing at the age of 14. Yes, really! My first book was the Necromancer, and while it isn’t as technically polished as my later works, it showcased my potential as a writer: I could write dark, phantasmagoric scenes, and weave a complex plot filled with adventure.

Today, I have a dayjob as a data scientist (currently teaching at university), though I hope to become a full-time writer one day.

I have travelled across many countries: the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria, plus my native Romania. I try to bring my experience of encountering new cultures and languages into my writing.
